About Me
My name is Nate Boulard-Patterson. I have 3 years experience in the editing industry working on all types of genres and formats such as Fiction, Non-Fiction, Short Stories, Novellas, Essays, Poetry, Screen Plays, Short Films, Video Games, and so much more. Since starting my journey in editing I have come to learn that it is an intense passion of mine. I lose myself in every piece I work on and dedicate myself fully until I've finished helping bring it to the best version of itself that it can be.
Services
As an experienced and accomplished Editor, it’s always important for me to understand the context of a piece in order to pick out the most important details and structure the narrative flow accordingly. Check out the collection of recently published and noteworthy articles I’ve been involved in producing below.
Essays
One of the formats I specialize in is Essays. Not only can I assist in sentence structure, I can also help with word choice, repetition, timing of arguments and facts/citations, and transitions.
Short Stories
When it comes to Short Stories many genres come into play, that being said, I am capable of editing them all. I can help you with character and plot development, consistency of language, word choice, and many other aspects that come with the written process.
All Others Formats
Even though I specialize in Essays and Short Stories I edit all types of formats: Poetry, Thesis, Skits, Game Story Lines, Children Books, Novels, Novellas, and more.
Fees, submissions, and editing process
$0.02 per word with a 50% deposit
I only accept Word or PDF documents as I only do my edits digitally using track changes in Word.
If you are unfamiliar with track changes or how to work this tool. It is found under the Review tab in Word. You can either go through each edit and comment individually, or accept/reject them all through the additional options.

Through my edits you will see comments for almost every change I make stating why the change was made or if further changes need to be made on your end due to citations or research.
